The First Step
A Big THANK YOU!
I received a fabulous response from your side. Few students even shared their views about how this initiative will help them. I am thrilled to receive this support from you all. I'm glad that you liked this initiative. Just stay connected, and we will see a meaningful transformation happening in our lives. Again, Thanks a million to you.
Hey friends,
Due to social media’s impact, you may feel that everyone around you is working upon some fantastic stuff, living a fascinating and exciting life in their college(Nowadays in lockdown). Due to this, we naturally try to compare our life with them and feel depressed. We often tell our friends, 'Bhai bs, Zindagi ktt rhi hai'. It may feel right for a moment, but we have to understand that social media profile is not even 10% of a person's life, we never acknowledge that, instead, we compare our 100% of life with their 10%, not even realizing that 90% of their life is same as ours.
At this moment, by no means, I am saying that we should not take inspiration from people around us. The only thing I want to remind you about is that we are also capable of doing what we aspire. We don't have to feel depressed because we aren't able to do what our friends are doing. We are unique and, thus, our way of working and expressing. We need to accept that and take the right action because the only thing pushing us back is that we are not taking any action.
Whatever, I am saying, chances are you probably know it all. But we don't take action, We wait for the right time, the right plan and our friends’ approval.
But the only thing we never do is taking action.
In the last newsletter, I shared the idea of the shitty first draft and asked to write your first draft, How many of us could have taken action after reading it? If you did take action, congratulations, my friend, you have taken the first step towards transformation (Do send me your work, I would love to see). And if you haven’t, then dear friend, please take some action.
We can read this newsletter or search for some motivational videos on youtube and watch it thousands of times, but nothing will happen unless we take action.
(You would like a video in the content section about this.)
Take action, my friend, please. I am requesting you. You will feel proud of yourself after taking this first step. Please take action! The world is waiting to see you in action.
In case, if you still feel that nobody will listen to you, nobody will have faith in you, then let me tell you.
I'm with you.
All the very best for the great week ahead.

Some Clarification
Guys, I know I have started this newsletter to help you all in your day to day life, and in this journey, you may feel like that I'm Perfect. I'm able to achieve more, you may think like that.
To clear things out, let me tell you that, I'm not a perfectionist at all, and nobody in this world can claim to be one.
Last week was very unproductive for me. I didn't do much work. Last Sunday, I also decided to finish the book Deep Work by Cal Newport but failed. I couldn’t finish it.
You know what, life is a journey, it's never perfect, it never works as we plan, sometimes we enjoy it, sometimes we don’t.
So never get disappointed by the situations in your life. Always try to think about what you can do to make situation favourable. And with this attitude, we all will be able to reach our desired destination.
I’ll feel delighted if you consider me as your friend, who also makes mistakes and sometimes blunders, instead of being a perfectionist. I'm also learning stuff and figuring out life. I'm just like other students. So never hesitate to interact with me. I would love to exchange some learnings with you.
I hope it brings some clarity to your heart.
Have a great week!

This has been a far longer email that I’d originally anticipated. If you’ve read this far, then (a) sorry, and (b) thanks! Hope you liked it. This is still very much an experiment - oddly, there are 100(!) people from various colleges who have signed up to get this weekly email.
